Specialty Services

Dry Needling

Dry needling involves the insertion of a thin filament needle to stimulate the healing process to target acute and chronic pain as well as restoration of healthy muscles.

Pelvic Floor

Many people are experiencing pelvic floor dysfunction and statistically, 20% of all Americans will deal with some type of pelvic floor dysfunction in their lifetime. The pelvic floor are the muscles and ligaments that form a sling between pubic bone and tailbone. They assist in controlling bowel/bladder, maintaining upright posture, supporting abdominal and pelvic organs, and sexual activity. When these muscles become overactive, or underused, the result can be pain and decreased function in those areas.
We are trained to identify and address multiple contributing factors of pelvic floor dysfunction, utilizing an individually designed and specific treatment regimen geared towards each client’s individual needs.

  • Do you have pain in your arm that makes it painful to shake hands with your clients or church members?
  • Are you “too young” to have back pain that makes it difficult to stand more than 20 minutes at your job?
  • Are you a teacher with hip pain making it painful to sit criss cross on the floor with your classroom kids?
  • Are you a state worker with arm pain every time you type on your computer keyboard?

Do any of these sound familiar?

If you answered ‘YES’ to any of these, you are not alone.  These are REAL clients we have helped rehab, recover, and return to focusing on what matters.

If you answered ‘YES’ to any of the last four questions, pelvic therapy may benefit you!  Although these symptoms are common, they are not a normal part of aging or being female.  Most importantly, they are NOT something that you must learn to live with.  Let our therapist guide you through a rehabilitation program to take control of your symptoms and improve the comfort and quality of your life.
