Hannah Wathen plays many roles in her career including therapist, coach, promoter, and manager.
She has practiced in several areas of Occupational Therapy since earning her Master’s from EKU in 2012 including inpatient/outpatient rehabilitation as well as working with clients of all ages.
She has worked with neurological diagnoses including spinal cord injury and stroke, but also excels as a pediatric therapist working with children with developmental disabilities. Hannah also serves Frankfort as an ACE certified Group Fitness Instructor, owning and operating MamaStay Fit where she teaches stroller-based work out classes for Moms with their children in tow. Her Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science, from Georgetown College, has also come in quite handy in both of these positions as she is very knowledgeable about the body and the benefit of staying active. While her experience and skills are vast and varied, her passion is to promote health and wellness through positive lifestyle changes.
She and her husband are proud members of our community, and can be seen at any of our local parks with their two wild, but very sweet boys. When she isn’t working or “momming”, Hannah enjoys running and spending time outdoors.
