We understand you may have some hesitations about booking an appointment for a consult. You may be wondering if our clinic is right for you. Have you had a less than stellar experience in the health industry before? Did you feel like they didn’t listen to you? You were just another client? Bounced around to different practitioners? One step inside and you will feel the difference.
The Prana Way is personalized, thoughtful, and we work for you. We look at the full body for healing mentally and physically. We think you’ll love it here as much as we do.
Welcome to The Prana Way. Some of the many benefits include:
Your satisfaction is important to us. If you are not entirely satisfied with any program, on the same day of service, simply tell us what went wrong and we will refund your money. We can offer this guarantee to our cash paying customers only.
We searched long and hard for a downtown location to serve you. We know that a central location makes it easier for state workers, business owners, and people on the go to be able to get to us from all over. We also know it puts us in the heart of the community, and that is important to keep a “pulse” on what is going on around us and better serve our clients. It may mean you have to park somewhere new or walk a little ways but we know you will find it worthwhile.
Dr. Marshall is proud to lead this team of trailblazers in health and wellness. Locally grown, she knows the value of supporting and building a strong community focused on health and wellness. She saw the writing on the wall that the healthcare industry is in danger, insurance is making too many decisions, and client care quality is suffering. She knew there was a better way, so she built it.
Dr. Marshall received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from UK over 15 years ago. While she has worked in a variety of settings, her passion is helping women (like her) who have undergone tummy tuck surgery after carrying twins. She wants to empower other women to strengthen and condition the right way to get back to living their best life with their people.
In her spare time, Dr. Marshall and her husband, Taylor, love traveling with their three sons and lab. She’s a runner, taste tester, and recreational renovator.
I have been an occupational therapist for 16+ years, starting in early intervention, school systems, and, later, acute care and outpatient rehabilitation. My career paralleled an interest and a personal need for pelvic floor therapy following the births of my three children. I needed more information about preventative strategies, education about my healing(or not healing) body, needed postpartum support, and I needed HELP. The silver lining, through these situations and personal experiences, I discovered a passion for sharing my knowledge of pelvic health with other women.
I started my own business, Mashburn Occupational Therapy, to do what I love. I want to help women; through their ages, changes, life events, children or no children- I am here for you. I want you to know that you don’t have to live with pelvic pain, incontinence, fear, or discomfort about your body. There is help.
Specializes in treating pelvic pain, urinary and bowel symptoms, and other pelvic floor dysfunction such as:
Pelvic Pain Conditions
Urinary Symptoms
Gut & Bowel Health
Orthopedic Pelvic Pain
Painful Sex
Pregnancy and Post-Partum Care

As a coach, I use a collaborative approach to identify goals as well as patterns that work for and against you. My 10+ years as an OT have provided me with knowledge in all areas of wellness as well as how to help clients develop and adapt to new behaviors. I have worked in outpatient and inpatient rehabilitation, pediatrics, prenatal, postpartum, fitness, and mental health.
My career experience combined with my own personal wellness journey have shaped the type of coach I am today; one who will celebrate and problem solve right along with you throughout your journey. It is my goal that through educating and coaching our clients, we will influence our community to choose wellness as a priority and change the image of our society’s view on health.

I am a professional dancer, dance teacher, and social media coordinator with a serious interest in working toward a career in the physical therapy field. The body is your instrument in dance and I have had to learn more than I expected about how the body works, and how to use my body so there is not injury and how to rehab when there is injury.
I serve as the clinic coordinator for Prana Wellness and Practice with Prana. I am the face greeting you upon your arrival and I also manage practitioners within our facility. I am responsible for the engaging social media content and community outreach.
I am your contact if you are looking to book a consult or rent a room as a practitioner.
